Our mission is to foster independence, dignity, and meaningful connections for every individual we serve.Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and dependable Licensing Specialist with strong leadership and collaboration skills. This role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team while supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and overseeing provider homes.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide strong leadership aligned with Fostering Hope&rsquo;s mission and values</li><li>Participate in all scheduled PCSP (Person-Centered Service Plan) team meetings; ensure punctuality, preparedness, and timely follow-through</li><li>Conduct interviews and home studies for prospective provider families</li><li>Perform monthly home visits to ensure quality care and compliance</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation and client financial records</li><li>Train and support providers through onboarding and ongoing development</li><li>Complete incident reports and communicate with appropriate departments</li><li>Review placement profiles and coordinate appropriate member placements</li><li>Assist families through licensing/certification processes</li><li>Write home studies, renewals, amendments, and behavioral plans (BBPs)</li><li>Ensure timely authorizations and compliance with service specifications</li><li>Participate in committees, planning sessions, and additional assigned duties</li></ul>Minimum RequirementsLicensing &amp; Certifications<ul><li>Valid Arizona Driver&rsquo;s License with clean 39-month driving record</li><li>Ability to obtain Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card</li><li>Article 9 Training (or ability to obtain)</li><li>CPR/First Aid Certification (Adult/Child/Infant)</li><li>Clearance from Department of Economic Security (DES) and related registries</li></ul>Education &amp; Experience (One of the Following Required)Option 1:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree (or higher) in a related field (e.g., psychology, social work, special education, etc.)</li><li>+ 2 years management/supervisory experience in human services</li></ul>Option 2:<ul><li>5+ years leadership/management experience serving ID/DD or similar populations</li></ul>Option 3:<ul><li>2+ years direct experience with ID/DD population</li><li>Meet QIDP requirements (42 C.F.R. &sect; 483.430)</li><li>Licensed/certified in Arizona as one of the following:</li><li>RN, LCSW, Psychologist, OT/PT, Speech Pathologist, Dietitian, etc.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Prior leadership or supervisory experience</li><li>Strong communication (written &amp; verbal) skills</li><li>Organizational, documentation, and time-management abilities</li><li>Basic math and computer proficiency</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>Self-motivated and dependable professionals</li><li>Strong team players who can also work independently</li><li>Passion for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities</li><li>Commitment to accountability and quality care</li></ul>Work Environment<ul><li>Combination of office, fieldwork, and in-home visits</li><li>Regular travel to provider homes required</li></ul>Equal Opportunity EmployerFostering Hope is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
