Franklin County Rehab Center is a 64 bed skilled nursing facility seeking a compassionate, patient, tactful, and most of all a fun individual to join our team!This is a unique position- perfect for someone with an open schedule during the day or someone who is retired and looking to keep busy! This position receives a weekly on-call stipend and brings residents to scheduled appointments.Responsibilities of this position include:<ul><li>Provide safe transportation for residents, families, and staff members.</li><li>Comply with all traffic and safety regulations.</li><li>Ensure all passengers follow safety protocols.</li><li>Ensure resident safety at all times.</li><li>Communicate effectively with residents and families.</li><li>Promotes teamwork, mutual respect, and effective communication between all staff.</li><li>Assist residents into and out of their appointments as needed.</li><li>Communicates professionally with external facilities.</li><li>Inspects vehicle on a regular basis to ensure safety.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and ensure travel with appropriate documents.</li><li>Monitor and replenish fuel levels as needed.</li><li>Report needed vehicle maintenance to direct supervisor by completing and submitting maintenance log.</li></ul>*Valid Vermont Driver&rsquo;s license and a clean driving record requiredJob Type: Part-timePay: From $22.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li></ul>Schedule:<ul><li>Monday to Friday</li></ul>Work Location: In person
