Transportation Driver

Franklin County Rehab Center is a 64 bed skilled nursing facility seeking a compassionate, patient, tactful, and most of all a fun individual to join our team!

This is a unique position- perfect for someone with an open schedule during the day or someone who is retired and looking to keep busy! This position receives a weekly on-call stipend and brings residents to scheduled appointments.

Responsibilities of this position include:

• Provide safe transportation for residents, families, and staff members.
• Comply with all traffic and safety regulations.
• Ensure all passengers follow safety protocols.
• Ensure resident safety at all times.
• Communicate effectively with residents and families.
• Promotes teamwork, mutual respect, and effective communication between all staff.
• Assist residents into and out of their appointments as needed.
• Communicates professionally with external facilities.
• Inspects vehicle on a regular basis to ensure safety.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and ensure travel with appropriate documents.
• Monitor and replenish fuel levels as needed.
• Report needed vehicle maintenance to direct supervisor by completing and submitting maintenance log.

*Valid Vermont Driver’s license and a clean driving record required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
