Job Summary:

  • Perform courier/liaison duties and general errands/tasks, such as accepting and delivering lab specimens/reports to laboratory or client, successfully managing time and distances. May include weekend/night coverage as needed.
  • Assist in front desk, phlebotomy duties, and outpatient workflow.
  • Collect chain of custody urine drug screens and breathalyzer tests, as needed.
  • Manage stock of laboratory requisitions and storeroom supplies.
  • Operate and maintain the company vehicle in accordance with manufacturer's specification; promptly report vehicle problems to laboratory management to prevent downtime.
  • Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences.
  • Uphold and promote patient safety and quality.

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Phlebotomy certification required.

Experience:
Lab/Phlebotomy/Courier experience.

Additional Skills/Abilities:
Valid driver's license, clear driving record, and basic computer skills required. Must have the ability to prioritize, multi-task, remain calm under stress, and communicate effectively.
