Friends of the Round Lake Area Library

The Round Lake Area Public Library is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer who will support the library's visual identity and marketing efforts. The ideal candidate is a strong visual communicator with the ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and create engaging print and digital materials that connect with our diverse community.Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field or equivalent experience</li><li>Portfolio demonstrating strong design skills and creative work</li><li>Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)</li><li>Experience creating print and digital marketing materials</li><li>Knowledge of basic design principles (layout, typography, color)</li><li>Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines</li><li>Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience in Canva</li><li>Photography and/or basic video editing experience</li><li>Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems (e.g., WordPress)</li><li>Bilingual English/Spanish</li><li>Experience in a public library or public service environment</li></ul>TO APPLY mail or e-mail a cover letter and resum&eacute; to:Eugenia FloresHead of MarketingRound Lake Area Public Library District906 Hart Rd.Round Lake, IL 60073Email: employment@rlalibrary.orgPay: $24.53 - $33.35 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
