Legal AssociatePayroll Organisation: Frontier Agrotech Private LimitedLocation: Mohali (On-Site)Key Responsibilities&middot; Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents, ensuring compliance with the Indian Contract Act and other relevant laws.&middot; Provide expert legal advice on issues related to the Insecticide Act, GST Laws, Labor Laws, and corporate governance.&middot; Manage payment recovery processes, including preparing legal notices and coordinating with the accounts team and external stakeholders.&middot; Ensure full compliance with company laws, including incorporation, filing requirements, and corporate governance practices.&middot; Offer guidance on labor law compliance, including employment contracts, workplace regulations, and dispute resolution.&middot; Ensure compliance with GST laws, including transaction reviews, registrations, and filings, and address tax disputes as necessary.&middot; Advise on regulatory matters and operations are legally compliant.&middot; Support in dispute resolution and litigation, including appearing in court or liaising with external counsel where required.&middot; Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal changes and proactively advise management on potential business impact.Requirements and skills&middot; LLB / LLM&middot; 2-3 years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on contract law, regulatory compliance, and recovery of payments.&middot; Strong knowledge of the Insecticide Act, Companies Law, GST laws, and labor laws.&middot; Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.&middot; Ability to handle multiple legal issues with attention to detail and precision.&middot; Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.&middot; Ability to work both independently and within a team.Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
