Fruit Growers Supply

<div>Responsible for executing against sales plan and ensuring the generation of new sales exceed target goals. Conducts Irrigation sales call, target potential new customers and follows up with current customer base regarding future needs. Evaluates estimates for customer needs including irrigation pipelines, filters, pumps, and emission devices. Assists with scheduling sub-contractors during the installation phase of projects. Responsible for improving and finding alternative sources and solutions in helping customers accomplish their buying needs. 
Essential Job functions/ Duties:<div> 
</div><div><ul><li>Executes against a sales plan and ensures the generation of new sales exceed targeted goals for the irrigation department, Owns and is accountable for all aspects of irrigation system sales.</li><li>
Conducts irrigation system sales calls throughout the San Joaquin Valley, CA, targeting potential new customers, and following up with current customer base regarding their future needs</li><li>
Evaluates and creates estimates for customers irrigation system needs including irrigation pipelines, filters, pumps, emission devices, and other irrigation equipment.</li><li>
Manages all potential and current customer opportunities, leads and current accounts through CRM system (Salesforce).</li><li>
Prepares project estimates promptly and accurately</li><li>
Assesses field work in order to discuss customer irrigation needs.</li><li>
Manages numerous, challenging tasks/projects; must be able to multitask in an organized fashion</li><li>
Develops effective relationships with customer base and local growers.</li><li>
Maintains extraordinary level of customer service. Maintains a contact sheet of current and potential customers.</li><li>
Performs other duties as may be assigned.</li></ul></div> 
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Certifications/Licenses, and Experience:<div><ul><li>
4-6 years of experience in Irrigation</li><li>
Preferred 4 Year bachelor&rsquo;s degree Agricultural related field, engineering or irrigation design</li><li>
Strong familiarity with the Santa Paula, Ventura, Fresno County, and Tulare County</li><li>
Strong understanding of irrigation pipelines, filters, pumps, emission devices, and other irrigation equipment</li><li>
Must be fast paced, high energy, a self-starter, with a positive attitude</li><li>
Must work well under pressure and thrive in a sales driven environment</li><li>
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal</li><li>
Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook - SAP a plus</li><li>
Valid unrestricted California driver's license</li><li>
Willing and able to lift up to 60 lbs. and handle bulky items</li><li>
Continuing educational classes in irrigation will be encouraged</li><li>
Must be detail oriented and have the ability to manage the details.</li><li>
Must be proactive.</li><li>
Must possess strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate with and influence all levels.</li><li>
Ability to effectively conduct meetings and training sessions.</li><li>
Computer literate with Microsoft and other office equipment.</li><li>
Ability to organize and prioritize work.</li><li>
Ability to multi-task and handle a number of issues at one time.</li><li>

Senior Representative, Irrigation Sales

<div>Responsible for working closely with the Irrigation Sales Team to oversee the coordination of irrigation projects, manage the day-to-day aspects of irrigation projects, and design irrigation projects via IrriCad/AutoCAD.
Essential Job functions/ Duties: 
Coordinator Functions:<ul><li> Prepare and open irrigation project estimates promptly and accurately by creating material lists, pulling &amp; staging materials.</li><li> Create and upload/ attach data sheets and labor sheets. Receive signed customer agreements and attach to irrigation projects.</li><li> Ensure proper signatures and documentation are collected when project changes occur.</li><li> Complete Irrigation Weekly Review spreadsheet and email out weekly.</li><li> Work with CRM &ndash; Salesforce to ensure all projects and designs are updated with accuracy.</li><li> Create presentation packets for Irrigation Sales Representatives to share with customers.</li><li> Responsible for finding alternative sources for irrigation project materials.</li><li> Process direct orders from various vendors and negotiate pricing.</li><li> Process labor invoices.</li><li> Follow up on orders and vendor invoices.</li><li> Follow up on material returns to ensure accurate accounting of credits.</li><li> Verify customer account information (credit, cash, packinghouse).</li><li> Contact packinghouses to verify approval to use packinghouse accounts for billing purposes.</li><li> Submit requests to accounting for cash and credit account creation.</li><li> Work with accounting to settle and close projects.</li><li> Progress bill customers as project advances.</li><li> Verify receipt of progress payments.</li><li> Apply progress payments against sales orders.</li><li> Final bill irrigation projects promptly and accurately.</li><li> Coordinate material pickup with customers and sub-contractors. Schedule and coordinate delivery of materials to job sites as needed.</li><li> Assist with scheduling sub-contractors during installation phase of projects.</li><li> Update SAP project stages (inquiry, quotation, contract) Add Salesforce ID #&rsquo;s to irrigation projects before close</li><li> Review goods issue tickets, purchase orders, project numbers, etc. to maintain project files</li></ul> 
Designer Functions:<ul><li> 
 Works closely with Salesperson/Growers to discuss the designs of a new or existing</li></ul>
irrigation systems, according to the grower's application or needs.<ul><li> Understands and evaluates field work in preparation for design.</li><li> Designs systems with pumps, pipelines, filters, emission devices as the need requires and makes complete material take off lists.</li><li> Communicates installation instructions for irrigation jobs with sub-contractor(s).</li><li> Maintain a completed design drawing file.</li><li> Maintain IrriCad Database and IrriCad program upgrades.</li><li> Maintains a contact sheet of current and potential customers</li><li> Performs other duties</li></ul> 
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Certifications/Licenses, and Experience:<ul><li> 3 - 5 Irrigation &amp; Design experience required</li><li> 3 - 5 Office/ Administrative experience required</li><li> Minimum High School or GED High School or GED or other related field Preferred</li><li> 4 Year bachelor&rsquo;s degree in business or agriculture preferred</li><li> Required CID Certification, or ability to obtain</li><li> Required Valid unrestricted driver license</li><li> Possesses a strong understanding of irrigation parts, assembly, and irrigation vendors</li><li> Ability to manage a heavy workload, multiple tasks, meet frequent and overlapping deadlines.</li><li> Ability to respond promptly and courteously to various customer requests.</li><li> Possesses strong organizational skills along with the ability to prioritize and multitask.</li><li> Possesses knowledge of computer aided design programs (IrriCAD/AutoCAD)</li><li> Possesses interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with internal and external customers.</li><li> Possesses strong computer skills: must be proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel and Outlook; ability to operate standard office equipment. Knowledge of SAP is a plus.</li><li> Possesses strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.</li><li> Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information.</li><li> Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and policies.</li><li> Ability to work individually and as a team for the purpose of meeting the combined goals of the irrigation department and the organization.</li><li> Ability to communicate with individuals by using a telephone, various computer software programs, and in person.</li></ul>
