Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially-minded Finance Manager to lead our financial operations. The ideal candidate will oversee the full accounting cycle for our banana import and export business, managing high-volume cross-border transactions, trade finance instruments, and cost-control measures specific to the perishable goods industry.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Financial Oversight: Manage day-to-day accounting, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and monthly P&amp;L reporting.</li><li>Trade Finance: Execute and manage Letters of Credit (LCs), Bank Guarantees, and Open Account terms with international suppliers and buyers.</li><li>Cost Analysis: Monitor and analyze &quot;Land costs&quot; including freight, customs duties, port charges, and storage fees to maintain profit margins.</li><li>Inventory &amp; Spoilage: Work closely with the supply chain team to account for inventory valuation and manage financial provisions for &quot;wastage&quot; or spoilage common in the banana trade.</li><li>Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all transactions comply with GCC VAT regulations and international trade laws.</li><li>Cash Flow Management: Optimize working capital to support frequent import shipments and seasonal fluctuations in the fruit market.</li></ul>Requirements &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. ACCA, CPA, or CMA qualification is highly preferred.</li><li>Experience: 4&ndash;7 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 2 years in an import/export or FMCG environment.</li><li>Technical Skills: * Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Tally Prime).</li><li>Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and margin analysis.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Incoterms 2020.</li><li>Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to work under pressure during peak shipping seasons.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: From QAR5,000.00 per month
