Key Responsibilities <ul> <li>Prepare and conduct standard laboratory tests on soil, rock, groundwater.</li> <li>Log, label, and organize samples according to established procedures.</li> <li>Record test results accurately and assist with basic data analysis.</li> <li>Maintain cleanliness and ensure proper calibration of laboratory equipment.</li> <li>Follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.</li> <li>Support senior technicians and the Laboratory Manager in specialized testing and reporting.</li> <li>Participate in training and development programs to build technical skills.</li> </ul> Requirements <ul> <li>Must be a UAE national with a Family Book.</li> <li>Diploma or degree in Laboratory Technology, Civil Engineering, Geology, Geosciences, Earth Sciences, or a related field</li> <li>Basic understanding of laboratory procedures and material testing</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standards and instructions</li> <li>Effective communication and teamwork skills</li> <li>Willingness to work in a laboratory environment.</li> </ul> A Great Plus If You Meet the Following <ul> <li>Internship or academic project experience in a materials or geotechnical laboratory.</li> <li>Familiarity with testing standards (e.g., BS, ASTM, ISO).</li> <li>Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development.</li> <li>Interest in digitization and electronic data recording.</li> <li>Willingness to work in occasional field environments.</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li> </ul> What we offer Fugro provides a positive work environment as well as projects that will satisfy the most curious minds.
