Job Overview Join our team as a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver and be the vital link that ensures patients receive safe, reliable, and comfortable transportation to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other essential destinations. As a key member of our transportation team, you'll operate various vehicles, including shuttle buses, limousines, and paratransit vans, delivering exceptional service to those in need. This paid position is ideal for individuals passionate about driving and helping others while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.Responsibilities<ul><li>Safely operate a variety of vehicles such as shuttle buses, limousines, and paratransit vans to transport clients to scheduled appointments.</li><li>Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring comfort and safety at all times.</li><li>Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to guarantee optimal performance and safety compliance.</li><li>Communicate effectively with clients to provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and address special needs or requests.</li><li>Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to maintain a secure transportation environment.</li><li>Manage scheduling logistics efficiently to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs while maintaining flexibility for last-minute changes.</li><li>Perform heavy lifting when necessary for loading or unloading mobility aids or luggage, adhering to proper safety protocols.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, bus driving, or limousine service that demonstrates reliability and professionalism.</li><li>Strong communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members.</li><li>Knowledge of paratransit operations and familiarity with heavy lifting techniques for assisting passengers or equipment.</li><li>Ability to handle commercial driving responsibilities with a valid driver&rsquo;s license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., &lt;PERSON&gt; driver license).</li><li>Experience in school bus driving or other specialized transportation roles is a plus.</li><li>Excellent driving skills combined with a clean driving record; experience in limousine or bus driving preferred.</li><li>Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge to identify issues early and ensure vehicle safety standards are met.
