This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, loves helping people, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly.About the RoleAs a Consumer Care Specialist, you&rsquo;ll be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors. You&rsquo;ll manage front desk operations, scheduling, billing support, and patient engagement while helping ensure every patient has a positive, seamless experience from check-in to checkout.You&rsquo;ll also support clinic efficiency, assist the clinical team as needed, and help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic environment.Key ResponsibilitiesFront Desk &amp; Patient Experience<ul><li>Greet patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism</li><li>Manage phone calls, emails, and messages in a timely manner</li><li>Schedule, confirm, and adjust appointments</li><li>Maintain an organized and welcoming front desk and lobby</li></ul>Patient Scheduling &amp; Retention<ul><li>Keep patients scheduled according to their plan of care</li><li>Reduce cancellations and no-shows</li><li>Follow up with patients who miss or discontinue visits</li></ul>Billing &amp; Insurance Support<ul><li>Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances</li><li>Verify insurance benefits and authorizations</li><li>Communicate financial responsibilities clearly and courteously</li></ul>Administrative &amp; Clinic Support<ul><li>Assist with intake paperwork and documentation</li><li>Maintain accurate patient records</li><li>Monitor and order office supplies</li><li>Assist with occasional tidying and basic clinic upkeep</li><li>Support clinicians during testing when needed</li></ul>Sales &amp; Clinic Growth<ul><li>Educate patients on FYZICAL services and programs</li><li>Promote wellness programs, retail products, and specialized services</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent (Associate&rsquo;s degree preferred)</li><li>Minimum 3 years of front desk, customer service, or healthcare office experience</li><li>Medical billing and insurance verification experience strongly preferred</li><li>Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems</li><li>Friendly, professional demeanor with a patient-first mindset</li></ul>Physical Requirements<ul><li>Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the clinic</li><li>Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally</li><li>Visual and auditory ability to interact effectively with patients and staff</li></ul>Why FYZICAL?At FYZICAL, we&rsquo;re more than a therapy clinic &mdash; we&rsquo;re a community focused on balance, wellness, and patient-centered care.
