Consumer Care Specialist- MUST be flexible to work between the hours of 6:45am-7pm, Monday through Friday please- Daily 8 hour working shifts with possibility of overtime- at least 2 evenings until 7pm are required!

FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers is seeking a Consumer Care Specialist (CCS) to be the welcoming face and organizational backbone of our clinic. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, loves helping people, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly.

About the Role

As a Consumer Care Specialist, you’ll be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors. You’ll manage front desk operations, scheduling, billing support, and patient engagement while helping ensure every patient has a positive, seamless experience from check-in to checkout.

You’ll also support clinic efficiency, assist the clinical team as needed, and help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk & Patient Experience

  • Greet patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism
  • Manage phone calls, emails, and messages in a timely manner
  • Schedule, confirm, and adjust appointments
  • Maintain an organized and welcoming front desk and lobby

Patient Scheduling & Retention

  • Keep patients scheduled according to their plan of care
  • Reduce cancellations and no-shows
  • Follow up with patients who miss or discontinue visits

Billing & Insurance Support

  • Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances
  • Verify insurance benefits and authorizations
  • Communicate financial responsibilities clearly and courteously

Administrative & Clinic Support

  • Assist with intake paperwork and documentation
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Monitor and order office supplies
  • Assist with occasional tidying and basic clinic upkeep
  • Support clinicians during testing when needed

Sales & Clinic Growth

  • Educate patients on FYZICAL services and programs
  • Promote wellness programs, retail products, and specialized services

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of front desk, customer service, or healthcare office experience
  • Medical billing and insurance verification experience strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems
  • Friendly, professional demeanor with a patient-first mindset

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the clinic
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
  • Visual and auditory ability to interact effectively with patients and staff

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
