Job Summary Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Hospitality Team Member, also known as a Server! This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, sales, and customer engagement within a lively restaurant or caf&eacute; setting.Duties<ul><li>Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit</li><li>Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems</li><li>Prepare and serve food items with attention to presentation and quality standards</li><li>Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales</li><li>Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities</li><li>Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing work areas, and adhering to food safety standards</li><li>Assist in food preparation when necessary, supporting kitchen staff with basic culinary tasks</li><li>Ensure quick service delivery in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tables efficiently</li><li>Follow sanitation protocols for food handling and ensure compliance with health regulations</li><li>Support team members with food prep, stocking supplies, and maintaining overall restaurant cleanliness</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.</li><li>Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary experience enhances your ability to serve confidently</li><li>Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy hours</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities</li><li>Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly</li><li>Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures</li><li>Experience working in quick service or fast-food restaurants is beneficial but not mandatory</li><li>Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed</li></ul>Join us to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences!
