Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
• Prepare and serve food items with attention to presentation and quality standards
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing work areas, and adhering to food safety standards
• Assist in food preparation when necessary, supporting kitchen staff with basic culinary tasks
• Ensure quick service delivery in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tables efficiently
• Follow sanitation protocols for food handling and ensure compliance with health regulations
• Support team members with food prep, stocking supplies, and maintaining overall restaurant cleanliness

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary experience enhances your ability to serve confidently
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy hours
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
• Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience working in quick service or fast-food restaurants is beneficial but not mandatory
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $5.00 - $7.00 per hour
