Position OverviewGallardo Signs is seeking a skilled Graphic Designer / Production Designer to support signage, branding, and large-format print projects from concept through production. This role works closely with the shop team to ensure designs are accurate, production-ready, and aligned with client needs.This is a hands-on position ideal for a designer who enjoys working in a fast-paced, fabrication-driven environment and collaborating across departments.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Design signage, graphics, and branding assets for a wide range of clients</li><li>Prepare production-ready files for vinyl, print, and fabrication</li><li>Communicate with clients to clarify design needs, revisions, and approvals</li><li>Coordinate with production staff to ensure designs translate accurately to final output</li><li>Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines</li><li>Maintain organized files and job records</li><li>Assist with mockups, proofs, and layout revisions as needed</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator required; Photoshop strongly preferred)</li><li>Strong understanding of layout, typography, and visual hierarchy</li><li>Experience preparing files for large-format printing and vinyl production</li><li>Ability to follow brand standards and client specifications</li><li>Clear communication skills with both clients and internal teams</li><li>Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability</li><li>Ability to work on-site and collaborate in a production environment</li></ul>Preferred (But Not Required)<ul><li>Experience in a sign shop or print production environment</li><li>Familiarity with large-format printers, vinyl cutters, or fabrication workflows</li><li>Basic understanding of materials, finishes, and installation considerations</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Steady, full-time work in a collaborative shop environment</li><li>Exposure to a wide variety of design and signage projects</li><li>Opportunity to grow technical production knowledge</li><li>Supportive team and hands-on learning</li></ul>How to ApplyPlease submit a resume and portfolio (or samples of relevant design work).Job Type: Full-timePay: $37,440.00 - $41,600.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
