This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality talents in a fast-paced, fun environment.Duties<ul><li>Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.</li><li>Engage with guests in a lively, friendly manner to enhance their experience and promote repeat business.</li><li>Manage cash handling and POS transactions using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure accurate billing.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations at all times.</li><li>Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially in nightclub settings, while addressing any issues promptly.</li><li>Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to coordinate service during busy hours like banquets or catering events, ensuring seamless operations.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience as a bartender in a nightlife or restaurant setting; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable.</li><li>Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; basic math skills for cash handling and retail math are essential.</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests confidently and professionally.</li><li>Ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.</li><li>Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol serving practices.</li><li>Experience working in banquet settings or catering environments is a plus; retail math skills are beneficial for sales transactions.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work flexible evening hours, including weekends and special events such as concerts or private parties.
