Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Engage with guests in a lively, friendly manner to enhance their experience and promote repeat business.
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure accurate billing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations at all times.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially in nightclub settings, while addressing any issues promptly.
• Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate service during busy hours like banquets or catering events, ensuring seamless operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in a nightlife or restaurant setting; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; basic math skills for cash handling and retail math are essential.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests confidently and professionally.
• Ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol serving practices.
• Experience working in banquet settings or catering environments is a plus; retail math skills are beneficial for sales transactions.
• Demonstrated ability to work flexible evening hours, including weekends and special events such as concerts or private parties.
