Location: Remote Type: Freelance or Full-time Department: Creative / Content Reports to: Head of CreativeRole SummaryWe are looking for a Video Editor with advanced skills in DaVinci Resolve, experienced in gaming montage, gesture integration, and 2D/3D visual content. You&rsquo;ll be responsible for producing high-impact, culturally aligned, and platform-native videos (TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.) for the Gamer Majlis brand and community.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Create compelling gaming montages, highlight reels, and branded videos for tournaments, clans, and social content.</li><li>Edit 2D and 3D video content for use in marketing, storytelling, and platform UI demos.</li><li>Design and integrate gesture-based overlays (e.g., emotes, pop-ups) using motion graphics.</li><li>Adapt long-form streams into short-form vertical video content for TikTok, Reels, etc.</li><li>Collaborate with esports teams, marketing leads, and community managers to meet brand voice and content strategy.</li><li>Optimize all edits for engagement, platform relevance, and narrative impact.</li></ul>Must-Have Requirements<ul><li>3+ years experience in video editing, with portfolio showcasing gaming content.</li><li>Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve (Fusion, Color, Fairlight, Cut) Or similar (ADOBE Tools , Magic, Blender).</li><li>Strong grasp of montage techniques (synced edits, kill transitions, cinematic cuts).</li><li>Experience editing both 2D and 3D animation into video content.</li><li>Ability to create, import, and sync gesture/emote animations.</li><li>Familiarity with esports culture, MENA gaming audience, and genre-specific expectations (FPS, MOBA, Battle Royale).</li><li>Strong storytelling and pacing instincts.</li><li>Able to work with Arabic and English voice and subtitle content.</li></ul>Bonus Skills<ul><li>Experience in Twitch/YouTube stream post-production.</li><li>Skills in After Effects, Blender, or other 3D tools.</li><li>Understanding of Arabic-language typography and layout.</li><li>Background in meme-editing, TikTok native formats, or high-velocity social edits.</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>A chance to shape the content of MENA&rsquo;s first AI-powered gaming infrastructure.</li><li>Work with a cross-functional, esports-obsessed team.</li><li>Flexible hours with milestone-based delivery.</li><li>Opportunities for revenue-share via marketplace or tournaments.</li></ul>How to applyEmail your CV + portfolio and Previous work to careers@gamermajlis.comJob Types: Full-time, Internship, New grad Contract length: 12 monthsPay: E&pound;7,000.00 - E&pound;9,000.00 per month
