JOB DESCRIPTION</b></h6><p>
1. Receive and review purchase indents for bought-out items (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, etc.).<br>
2. Float inquiries, obtain quotations, and prepare comparative statements.<br>
3. Finalize vendors based on technical and commercial evaluation in coordination with engineering and projects.<br>
4. Issue purchase orders (POs) in line with project requirements and timelines.<br>
5. Identify and develop new suppliers for critical and specialized items.<br>
6. Ensure suppliers comply with quality, documentation, and delivery standards.<br>
7. Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost efficiency.<br>
8. Analyze cost breakups and propose cost-saving initiatives.<br>
9. Track purchase orders and follow up with vendors for timely delivery.<br>
10. Coordinate with stores, logistics, and quality teams for material inspection and receipt.<br>
11. Support the project team with updated material delivery status and vendor documents (e.g., drawings, test certificates, etc.).<br>
