Garner Products, Inc., a manufacturing company, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Office Administrator to support key business functions including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Human Resources, and administrative operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing a diverse set of responsibilities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:Bookkeeping &amp; Financial Administration&middot; Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledgers, and journal entries.&middot; Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and other financial accounts.&middot; Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.&middot; Support audits by providing required documentation and explanations.&middot; Ensure compliance with accounting principles and applicable regulations.Accounts Receivable (AR)<ul><li>Review sales orders for completeness and accuracy</li><li>Process sales orders into customer invoices</li><li>Coordinate shipping and freight logistics, including both domestic and international product shipments as well as repair-related shipments</li><li>Ensure timely and accurate billing in accordance with company procedures</li><li>Oversee AR to confirm payments are received on time.</li></ul>Accounts Payable (AP)<ul><li>Receive and reconcile goods with corresponding vendor invoices</li><li>Post AP invoices through the Purchase Order (PO) or Accounts Payable modules</li><li>Prepare checks for vendor payments, ensuring all disbursements are reviewed before release</li><li>Organize and mail payments timely</li><li>Perform general office duties such as answering phones, filing, and scanning</li></ul>Human Resources Support<ul><li>Assist with employee onboarding, document processing, and file maintenance</li><li>Track and maintain timekeeping and attendance records</li><li>Support HR communications and employee relations activities</li><li>Maintain confidentiality with all employee and company information</li></ul>Additional Tasks<ul><li>Write and process work tickets as needed</li><li>Support tradeshow preparation and maintain documentation, including travel, materials, logistics, and post-event needs</li></ul>Company Culture &amp; Appreciation<ul><li>Plan and coordinate internal company events, including holiday parties, luncheons, and staff meetings</li><li>Coordinate customer appreciation initiatives, including gifts, thank-you correspondence, holiday cards, and promotional materials</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>5+ years of experience in accounting, office administration, and HR support</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)</li><li>Familiarity with accounting/ERP systems; Sage 100 experience preferred</li><li>Strong organizational and time-management skills</li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Experience with event planning or internal communications a plus</li><li>Ability to handle confidential information with discretion</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Roseville, CA 95678 (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
