This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your analysis skills, technical knowledge, and communication prowess to keep projects moving forward with precision and enthusiasm.Duties<ul><li>Coordinate the dispatching of heavy equipment, trucks, and freight using transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management and AS400.</li><li>Utilize GPS and GIS tools to track equipment locations, optimize routes, and improve overall dispatch efficiency.</li><li>Communicate effectively with drivers, project managers, and vendors via multi-line phone systems, ensuring clear instructions and updates.</li><li>Maintain accurate data entry for shipment schedules, fleet movements, and inventory using systems like SyteLine and shipping &amp; receiving platforms.</li><li>Monitor fleet management metrics to ensure equipment availability, maintenance schedules, and compliance with safety standards.</li><li>Analyze transportation data to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies, proposing solutions to enhance supply chain performance.</li><li>Handle phone etiquette professionally while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience in dispatching heavy equipment or freight within a logistics or transportation setting.</li><li>Strong familiarity with transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management, SyteLine, or AS400.</li><li>Knowledge of GPS, GIS mapping tools, and transportation planning principles to coordinate fleet movements effectively.</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey instructions clearly over multi-line phone systems.</li><li>Demonstrated analysis skills for evaluating logistics data and optimizing dispatch operations.</li><li>Proficiency in data entry, typing accuracy, and maintaining detailed records related to shipping &amp; receiving activities.</li><li>Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining professionalism in phone etiquette and team interactions.
