Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Roll Off Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating roll off trucks to transport waste materials along with a CDL. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of commercial vehicles.Responsibilities<ul><li>Operate roll off trucks to pick up and deliver waste containers at customer sites.</li><li>Ensure proper loading and unloading of materials while adhering to safety protocols.</li><li>Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and any incidents that occur during transport.</li><li>Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding schedules and service needs.</li><li>Follow all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.</li><li>Perform basic mechanical checks and maintenance on the truck as needed.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.</li><li>Experience operating various types of trucks including roll off trucks, front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, dump trucks, flatbeds, or tractor-trailers is preferred.</li><li>Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance tasks on vehicles.</li><li>Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading materials.</li><li>Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.</li><li>A commitment to safety practices in all aspects of driving and operations.</li><li>Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is a plus.</li></ul>Join our dedicated team where your skills will be valued, and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional service in waste management!Job Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Safety equipment provided</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Commercial driving: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Driver's License (Preferred)</li><li>Air Brake Endorsement (Preferred)</li><li>CDL A (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Sanford, FL 32771 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Sanford, FL 32771: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
