Roll Off Driver CDL

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Roll Off Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating roll off trucks to transport waste materials along with a CDL. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of commercial vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Operate roll off trucks to pick up and deliver waste containers at customer sites.
• Ensure proper loading and unloading of materials while adhering to safety protocols.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and any incidents that occur during transport.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding schedules and service needs.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.
• Perform basic mechanical checks and maintenance on the truck as needed.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating various types of trucks including roll off trucks, front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, dump trucks, flatbeds, or tractor-trailers is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance tasks on vehicles.
• Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading materials.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
• A commitment to safety practices in all aspects of driving and operations.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
