In this vital role, you will coordinate and oversee the dispatching of dump trucks during overnight shifts, ensuring efficient transportation and delivery of materials. Your proactive communication skills and attention to detail will keep our logistics running smoothly, supporting our supply chain and transportation management systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of logistical operations, driving productivity and safety while working in a fast-paced environment.Duties<ul><li>Manage the dispatching of dump trucks ensuring timely pickups and deliveries.</li><li>Utilize GPS (Samsara) tools to monitor vehicle locations, optimize routes, and improve overall fleet efficiency.</li><li>Coordinate with company drivers , lease operators and outside carriers to schedule pickups &amp; deliveries.</li><li>Communicate clearly with drivers and team members through phone and messaging systems while practicing professional phone etiquette.</li><li>Analyze transportation data to identify opportunities for process improvements in logistics and supply chain operations.</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety protocols and transportation regulations during night operations.</li><li>Invoicing and billing.</li><li>Managing and resolving customer and driver issues.</li><li>Weekend On-Call Rotation</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Experience with dispatching of dump trucks is preferred.</li><li>Experience dispatching within a logistics/trucking environment.</li><li>Strong knowledge of GPS, GIS, and route optimization tools to enhance dispatch efficiency.</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle phone calls professionally.</li><li>Demonstrated analysis skills for evaluating freight movements, fleet performance, and logistics workflows.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with the capacity to multitask effectively during overnight shifts.
