Night Dispatcher (Dump Truck)

Duties

• Manage the dispatching of dump trucks ensuring timely pickups and deliveries.
• Utilize GPS (Samsara) tools to monitor vehicle locations, optimize routes, and improve overall fleet efficiency.
• Coordinate with company drivers , lease operators and outside carriers to schedule pickups & deliveries.
• Communicate clearly with drivers and team members through phone and messaging systems while practicing professional phone etiquette.
• Analyze transportation data to identify opportunities for process improvements in logistics and supply chain operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and transportation regulations during night operations.
• Invoicing and billing.
• Managing and resolving customer and driver issues.
• Weekend On-Call Rotation

Requirements

• Experience with dispatching of dump trucks is preferred.
• Experience dispatching within a logistics/trucking environment.
• Strong knowledge of GPS, GIS, and route optimization tools to enhance dispatch efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle phone calls professionally.
• Demonstrated analysis skills for evaluating freight movements, fleet performance, and logistics workflows.
• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to multitask effectively during overnight shifts. This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to make a tangible impact on our transportation operations while working in a lively, team-oriented environment.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
