Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Transcriptionist to support healthcare providers by accurately transcribing medical documentation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, combined with excellent typing skills and experience in a medical office setting. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to efficient patient care documentation while maintaining high standards of accuracy and confidentiality.Duties<ul><li>Transcribe dictated medical reports, patient histories, examination notes, and other clinical documentation with precision and attention to detail.</li><li>Ensure all documentation complies with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards for accuracy and confidentiality.</li><li>Maintain familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to accurately interpret provider dictations.</li><li>Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems efficiently, ensuring timely updates and organization of patient files.</li><li>Review transcribed documents for errors or inconsistencies and make necessary corrections promptly.</li><li>Support administrative tasks related to medical documentation as needed, including filing, data entry, and report formatting.</li><li>Collaborate effectively with medical staff to ensure clear communication and high-quality record-keeping.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Prior experience in medical transcription within a healthcare environment is highly preferred.</li><li>Demonstrated proficiency in transcription with a strong command of medical terminology and anatomy knowledge.</li><li>Experience working in a medical office setting, understanding clinical workflows and documentation standards.</li><li>Excellent typing skills with high accuracy and speed to meet fast-paced demands.</li><li>Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and transcription software.</li><li>Knowledge of physiology concepts relevant to various specialties such as cardiology, orthopedics, or general medicine is advantageous.</li><li>Strong organizational skills coupled with attention to detail to ensure precise record-keeping in compliance with healthcare regulations.
