Duties<ul><li>Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to remove plaque and tartar buildup</li><li>Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical history, vital signs, and current dental conditions</li><li>Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options</li><li>Assist with chairside procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and comfort</li><li>Take and interpret medical imaging such as X-rays while adhering to infection control protocols</li><li>Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix</li><li>Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient information and documentation review processes</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in the state of practice</li><li>Proven experience with dental office software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix preferred</li><li>Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control, and aseptic techniques</li><li>Experience working in pediatric dentistry or general dentistry settings is highly desirable</li><li>Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively</li><li>Familiarity with medical coding, documentation review, and medical terminology is a plus</li><li>Ability to perform chairside assisting duties and handle medical imaging equipment confidently</li></ul>Join us in creating healthier smiles while advancing your career in a vibrant, patient-focused environment.
