• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to remove plaque and tartar buildup
• Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical history, vital signs, and current dental conditions
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options
• Assist with chairside procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and comfort
• Take and interpret medical imaging such as X-rays while adhering to infection control protocols
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix
• Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient information and documentation review processes

Qualifications

• Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in the state of practice
• Proven experience with dental office software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix preferred
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control, and aseptic techniques
• Experience working in pediatric dentistry or general dentistry settings is highly desirable
• Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively
• Familiarity with medical coding, documentation review, and medical terminology is a plus
• Ability to perform chairside assisting duties and handle medical imaging equipment confidently

Pay: $42.00 - $45.00 per hour
