Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Part-Time Research Coordinator Infusion Nurse to join our dynamic research team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and administering infusion therapies within clinical research studies, ensuring adherence to protocols, and providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for advancing healthcare through research.Duties<ul><li>Administer infusion treatments such as Botulinum toxin and other investigational medications following strict protocol guidelines.</li><li>Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and physical examinations to determine eligibility and safety for participation.</li><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans, document procedures accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.</li><li>Monitor patients during infusions for adverse reactions or complications, providing immediate intervention when necessary.</li><li>Educate patients about procedures, potential side effects, and post-infusion care instructions to promote understanding and comfort.</li><li>Maintain detailed documentation of all procedures, medication administration, and patient responses in medical records.</li><li>Assist with research data collection, specimen processing, and ensuring adherence to study protocols aligned with NCQA standards.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience with IV infusion techniques, including venipuncture and aseptic technique.</li><li>Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and pharmacology related to infusion therapies.</li><li>Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate documentation.</li><li>Experience working in diverse clinical settings including hospital medicine, outpatient clinics, or long-term care facilities.</li><li>Ability to perform patient assessments, vital signs measurement, and basic laboratory procedures like phlebotomy.</li><li>Excellent communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration.</li><li>Knowledge of infection control practices and emergency response protocols such as basic life support (BLS).
