Schedule: Tuesday&ndash;Saturday | 3:00 PM &ndash; 9/10 PM Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time (Based on Availability)About Us: George&rsquo;s Bistro &amp; Bar is an upscale Italian &amp; Mediterranean restaurant with a strong focus on quality, hospitality, and a growing bar program. We&rsquo;re looking for a bartender who wants more than just shifts&mdash;someone who takes ownership of the bar, brings creativity, and helps elevate the entire beverage program.Position Overview: This is not just a bartending role&mdash;it&rsquo;s a Bar Lead opportunity. You&rsquo;ll be responsible for executing great service behind the bar while also contributing to cocktail development, inventory management, and shaping our wine and beverage offerings.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Provide high-level bartending service in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Create and develop new cocktails and seasonal features</li><li>Assist in curating and evolving the wine list</li><li>Order and manage inventory for liquor, wine, and beer</li><li>Maintain organization, cleanliness, and bar standards</li><li>Ensure consistency in all drinks served</li><li>Engage with guests and create a strong bar experience</li><li>Collaborate with management on pricing, menu updates, and specials</li><li>Help drive beverage sales and upsell effectively</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>2+ years bartending experience</li><li>Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, and wine</li><li>Interest in creativity and menu development</li><li>Experience with inventory and ordering is a plus</li><li>Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented</li><li>Strong communication and guest engagement skills</li></ul>Compensation:<ul><li>Hourly pay + tips</li><li>Opportunity for performance-based incentives/bonuses</li><li>Growth into a full Bar Manager role for the right candidate</li></ul>Why Join Us:<ul><li>Creative freedom with cocktails and menu input</li><li>Consistent schedule (Tuesday&ndash;Saturday evenings)</li><li>Opportunity to take ownership of the bar program</li><li>Work in a polished, growing restaurant with strong leadership</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $750.00 - $1,500.00 per weekWork Location: In person
