Job SummaryGeorgia Essential Private Care is seeking a compassionate, clinically skilled, and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care to pediatric patients (birth through age 21) in the comfort of their homes.Our patients are medically fragile children and adolescents who may be wheelchair-bound and/or dependent on tracheostomy, ventilator support, G-tubes, and other life-sustaining medical equipment. This role offers the opportunity to make a life-changing difference by providing personalized, high-quality care that promotes safety, stability, and improved quality of life.As a Pediatric Home Care LPN, you will work independently in the home while supported by a 24/7 clinical team. You will implement physician-ordered plans of care, provide complex skilled nursing services, and partner closely with families to ensure optimal outcomes.Responsibilities<ul><li>Implement and follow physician-prescribed plans of care</li><li>Provide one-on-one nursing care to medically fragile pediatric patients</li><li>Administer medications, and treatments as ordered</li><li>Provide skilled care including (as applicable):</li><li>Tracheostomy care</li><li>Ventilator management</li><li>G-tube/NG tube feedings</li><li>Suctioning and airway management</li><li>Oxygen therapy</li><li>Seizure monitoring</li><li>Wound care</li><li>Catheter care</li></ul>Assessment &amp; Monitoring<ul><li>Perform comprehensive pediatric assessments</li><li>Monitor respiratory status, neurological status, and overall condition</li><li>Identify and report changes in patient status promptly</li><li>Respond appropriately to emergencies within scope of practice</li></ul>Documentation &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation</li><li>Ensure compliance with Medicaid and state regulations</li><li>Participate in care plan updates and coordination of care</li></ul>Family Education &amp; Support<ul><li>Educate and train caregivers on safe equipment use and daily care routines</li><li>Provide health teaching and reinforcement of care techniques</li><li>Support families in promoting independence and quality of life</li></ul>Join us if you are a motivated, Pediatric-focused LPN who is passionate about caring for children with complex medical needs, we encourage you to apply today!Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Travel nursing, Contract, PRN, Per diemPay: From $35.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Work Location: In person
