Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic German-speaking individual to join us in July and August in the Hamptons.The ideal candidate will be passionate about childcare, a native German speaker, and be eager to create memorable experiences for our three children (7,5,3).You will be working in team together with another nanny, and help foster a safe, nurturing, and playful atmosphere for all children under your care.Duties<ul><li>Provide engaging childcare activities tailored to the age and interests of each child.</li><li>Support children with daily routines</li><li>Administer basic first aid when necessary, following safety protocols to ensure children's well-being</li><li>Communicate effectively with parents and guardians in German about daily activities and any concerns</li><li>Support children with developmental activities, including teaching basic skills and encouraging social interaction</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Fluency in German is essential; proficiency in English is preferred for effective communication with team members</li><li>Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or caregiving roles</li><li>Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate activities</li><li>Ability to work as part of a team in a lively summer environment</li><li>Passion for working with children and creating positive experiences that promote growth and happiness</li><li>Live in or live out possible. Commute between NYC - Hamptons is about 2.5 hours, and you could come for several days at a time, or stay for the summer.</li><li>Possible full time employment in NYC starting in the Fall 2026.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hourWork Location: In person
