German- speaking Nanny for summer in the Hamptons

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic German-speaking individual to join us in July and August in the Hamptons.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about childcare, a native German speaker, and be eager to create memorable experiences for our three children (7,5,3).

You will be working in team together with another nanny, and help foster a safe, nurturing, and playful atmosphere for all children under your care.

Duties

• Provide engaging childcare activities tailored to the age and interests of each child.
• Support children with daily routines
• Administer basic first aid when necessary, following safety protocols to ensure children's well-being
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians in German about daily activities and any concerns
• Support children with developmental activities, including teaching basic skills and encouraging social interaction

Qualifications

• Fluency in German is essential; proficiency in English is preferred for effective communication with team members
• Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or caregiving roles
• Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate activities
• Ability to work as part of a team in a lively summer environment
• Passion for working with children and creating positive experiences that promote growth and happiness
• Live in or live out possible. Commute between NYC - Hamptons is about 2.5 hours, and you could come for several days at a time, or stay for the summer.
• Possible full time employment in NYC starting in the Fall 2026.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
