 Job Description: Business Analyst - Supply Chain (D2C/B2B -Personal care Business)
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 We're looking for a highly analytical and results-oriented
 
 
 Business Analyst
 
 
 &nbsp;to join our Supply Chain team in a D2C and B2B Personal Care&nbsp;business setup.
 
 
 
 
 The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing critical insights through
 
 
 Management Information Systems (MIS)
 
 
 , highlighting and reporting
 
 
 operational abnormalities
 
 
 , and leading
 
 
 cost optimisation projects
 
 
 &nbsp;across the supply chain.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 MIS &amp; Reporting
 
 
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;Develop, maintain, and generate routine and ad-hoc
 
 
 MIS reports
 
 
 &nbsp;focused on key Supply Chain metrics, including inventory levels, logistics performance, production efficiency, and procurement costs.
 
 
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;Design and implement
 
 
 dashboards
 
 
 &nbsp;to visualise performance data for various stakeholders, ensuring clarity and ease of understanding.
 
 
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and areas requiring attention within the supply chain.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 &nbsp;Abnormality Detection &amp; Analysis
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;Establish and monitor
 
 
 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
 
 
 &nbsp;and benchmarks specific to the soap manufacturing supply chain.
 
 
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;Proactively identify and investigate significant deviations or
 
 
 abnormalities
 
 
 &nbsp;in supply chain operations (e.g., unexpected stockouts, high spoilage rates, significant cost variances, delivery delays).
 
 
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;Perform
 
 
 root cause analysis
 
 
 &nbsp;on identified issues and collaborate with functional heads (Production, Logistics, Procurement) to propose corrective actions.
 
 
 
 
 &nbsp;
 
 
 
 
 Cost Optimization &amp; Projects
 
 
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;Lead and support
 
 
 cost optimization initiatives
 
 
 &nbsp;across the entire supply chain, from raw material sourcing (e.g., oils, soap base, fragrance,COC,SC costs) to finished goods distribution.
 
 
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;Model and analyse the financial impact of various supply chain scenarios, such as different sourcing strategies, warehousing models, or logistics providers.
 
 
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;Develop
 
 
 business cases
 
 
 &nbsp;for supply chain improvement projects, monitor project progress, and track realised cost savings against targets.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 &nbsp;Cross-Functional Collaboration &amp; Support
 
 
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;Serve as the
 
 
 link
 
 
 &nbsp;between the Supply Chain function and IT/Finance for data extraction, system improvements, and financial planning.
 
 
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;Support the annual
 
 
 budgeting and forecasting
 
 
 &nbsp;process for supply chain costs.
 
 
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;Prepare presentations and summaries for senior management, detailing supply chain performance and project outcomes.
 
 
 
 
 Required Qualifications
 
 
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;Education:
 
 
 &nbsp;Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field. An MBA or specialized certification in SCM.
 
 
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;Experience:
 
 
 &nbsp;3-5 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role, preferably within a
 
 
 FMCG
 
 
 &nbsp;or
 
 
 Manufacturing (Soap/Chemical)
 
 
 &nbsp;environment with a focus on Supply Chain.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;Technical Skills:
 
 
 
 
 o&nbsp;Advanced proficiency
 
 
 &nbsp;in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, financial modelling).
 
 
 
 
 o&nbsp;Strong experience with
 
 
 ERP systems
 
 
 &nbsp;(e.g., SAP, Oracle) and BI/Data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
 
 
 
 
 o&nbsp;Solid understanding of statistical analysis and data modelling.
 
 
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;Domain Knowledge:
 
 
 &nbsp;Good understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Logistics.
