Job SummaryGhee Indian Kitchen is a Michelin Bib Gourmond concept based in South Florida. This is our first Atlanta location. We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, managing reservations, and ensuring efficient seating arrangements. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.Duties<ul><li>Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with accurate wait times.</li><li>Manage the seating chart and ensure efficient flow of guests to tables.</li><li>Answer phone calls with professionalism, handling reservations and inquiries effectively.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station.</li><li>Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.</li><li>Assist in guest relations by addressing any concerns or special requests.</li><li>Utilize Open Table for reservation and seating</li><li>Provide support during busy periods to enhance guest experience.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Must be available weekends and evenings.</li><li>Previous experience as a Host/Host or in food service is preferred.</li><li>Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems; experience with Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.</li><li>Background in restaurant or hotel environments is advantageous.</li><li>Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.</li><li>Knowledge of phone etiquette and guest services principles is essential.
