Job Summary

Ghee Indian Kitchen is a Michelin Bib Gourmond concept based in South Florida. This is our first Atlanta location.
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, managing reservations, and ensuring efficient seating arrangements. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with accurate wait times.
• Manage the seating chart and ensure efficient flow of guests to tables.
• Answer phone calls with professionalism, handling reservations and inquiries effectively.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
• Assist in guest relations by addressing any concerns or special requests.
• Utilize Open Table for reservation and seating
• Provide support during busy periods to enhance guest experience.

Qualifications

• Must be available weekends and evenings.
• Previous experience as a Host/Host or in food service is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with POS systems; experience with Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Background in restaurant or hotel environments is advantageous.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
