Job Summary
Seeking Fine Dining Servers who are passionate about hospitality and high level service. Must have excellent communication skills, ability to anticipate the needs of guests, sense of urgency, and ability to work with a team.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a welcoming and professional first impression.
- Present menus with detailed descriptions, highlighting specials and wine pairings to enhance the dining experience.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and precision.
- Upsell menu items and beverages to maximize sales opportunities while respecting guest preferences.
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards.
- Manage guest needs throughout the meal, responding promptly.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems and process payments efficiently with cash handling skills.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations; assist with bussing tables and resetting for new guests as needed.
- Foster positive guest relations by providing attentive, friendly service that encourages repeat visits.
Qualifications
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Proven experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments; previous serving or hospitality roles preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order entry and payment processing.
- Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety protocols within the food industry.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
- Demonstrated ability in upselling techniques to increase sales while maintaining guest satisfaction.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence.
- Uphold fine dining service standards and etiquette at all times.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong knowledge of wines and varietals is required.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
