 Position- Senior Project Manager
 
 
 Location- Mumbai
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Managing all stakeholders of the project &ndash; Design, vendors, client appointed vendors, any other as per project requirement.
 </li>
 <li>
 Works with the Planner to ensure effective planning is carried out for Project including production of Progress/Programme Reports, Construction/Tender programmes, weekly look-ahead programmes and Management of the critical path.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitors Supervision Consultants performance with respect to contractor/subcontractor submittals and QA/QC and recommends corrective action when required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develops and writes the schedule commentary that appears in the monthly progress and similar reports. Identifies and reports activities that have a critical or potential impact on the schedule and prepares and presents the Critical Items Action Report.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in responses to FIDIC claim notices with respect to EOT claims and in preparation of Determinations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Set up and control a strict regime to capture information of daily resource on site (main contractor and sub-contractor labour, plant and materials) to help inform potential delay issues and to respond to claims, as appropriate.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure a robust adherence to procedure whilst looking for continuous improvement.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure programme construction with correct logic and sequencing to meet contract requirements and constraints.
 </li>
 <li>
 To be aware of and maintain an understanding of the contract documents, codes of practice, standards and specifications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide consistent and proactive reporting at project, delivery team and business level.
 </li>
 <li>
 Committed to anticipating and seeking out Client needs both internally and externally.
 </li>
 <li>
 Understand the financial implications of the methods and sequences of construction that are proposed and planned.
 </li>
 <li>
 Able to analyse and advise project teams on programme risk.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage all Key Interfaces at project level.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to review and propose programme recovery strategy.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications Required
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 BE Civil with 15 years of related work experience in construction project management.
 </li>
 <li>
 In addition, must be knowledgeable of current Primavera Enterprise Systems (P6) &amp; Microsoft Project scheduling technology.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven ability to perform in a technical role, possess good written and oral communication skills, and have a thorough understanding of HSEE and industry practices and regulations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Candidate will be preferred with Hotel plus high rise project experience.
 </li>

 This is a great opportunity for an experienced MRICS chartered Cost Management Quantity Surveying professional to join as a senior member of Gleeds Arabia, responsible for working across a number of high profile commissions, delivering pre contract quantity surveying services.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Effective key stakeholder management
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensuring that commissions are managed in accordance with Gleeds processes and procedures (governance and controls).
 </li>
 <li>
 Delivering high quality pre contract cost management services ensuring that services meet and exceed our client's requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Managing and maintaining quality client relationships
 </li>
 <li>
 Leading and managing teams, ensuring compliance with administrative requirements (appraisals, training, timesheets etc)
 </li>
 <li>
 Managing employees, focusing on retention and development.
 </li>
 <li>
 Developing and enhancing Gleeds cost management capability.
 </li>
 <li>
 Working harmoniously with other Directors across the region
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 15+ years cost management experience
 </li>
 <li>
 5+ years experience living and working in the GCC
 </li>
 <li>
 Extensive experience working and leading cost consultancy
 </li>
 <li>
 Detailed knowledge and practical experience of pre contract cost management through concept design to detailed design stage
 </li>
 <li>
 Cost Planning, Cost Estimating, Value engineering, BoQ
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to motivate and lead others (including providing support and encouragement)
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent organisational skills and the ability to quickly adapt to changing environments
 </li>
 <li>
 Specialist knowledge of a specific industry sector (i.e. Residential, Hotels, Commercial, Retail, Leisure, Education, or other)
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrable evidence of delivering services to Clients and managing Client relationships
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrable experience of timely interfacing with clients and key stakeholders at the highest level
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 FRICS or MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), or equivalent
 </li>
 <li>
 Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
 </li>
 <li>
 Native level English language, written and oral
 </li>
 <li>
 Arabic language desirable
 </li>
