Job SummaryRequirement : Suitable Only candidates available with Valid Iqama for local transfer within KSAWe are seeking an experienced MariaDB Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and optimize our MariaDB database environments. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, performance, security, and reliability of databases supporting business-critical applications.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, upgrade, and maintain MariaDB database serversMonitor database performance and optimize queries, indexes, and schemasManage database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategiesEnsure high availability and replication (Master-Slave, Galera Cluster, etc.)Perform database security management (users, roles, privileges, encryption)Troubleshoot database issues and provide root cause analysisPlan and execute database capacity planning and storage managementWork closely with developers to support application database design and tuningAutomate routine DBA tasks using scripts (Shell, Python, etc.)Maintain database documentation and operational proceduresSupport production, staging, and development database environmentsEnsure compliance with company policies and data protection standardsRequired Skills &amp; QualificationsBachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)3+ years of experience as a Database AdministratorStrong hands-on experience with MariaDB / MySQLIn-depth knowledge of:SQL and query optimizationIndexing strategiesStored procedures and triggersReplication and clusteringExperience with Linux/Unix systemsStrong understanding of backup tools (mysqldump, mariabackup, etc.)Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Zabbix, Percona Monitoring, etc.)Knowledge of database security best practicesAbility to work under pressure and handle production incidentsJob Types: Full-time, Contract Contract length: 12 months
