Job OverviewGlobal Sight &amp; Sound is hiring an experienced Accounting Coordinator / Bookkeeper to support our growing team.This is a hybrid remote position (work from home + brief daily office visit required) focused on invoicing, payroll coordination, accounts receivable, and administrative operations.This role plays a key part in keeping our financial processes accurate, timely, and organized, while also supporting day-to-day administrative needs across the company.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting &amp; Financial Responsibilities (Primary)<ul><li>Create and send customer invoices (service and project billing)</li><li>Ensure jobs are properly marked and ready for invoicing in D-Tools</li><li>Coordinate payroll processing with external accounting provider</li><li>Track invoice status (sent, paid, outstanding)</li><li>Assist with accounts receivable (A/R) and follow-ups</li><li>Maintain accurate data between D-Tools and QuickBooks</li></ul>Administrative &amp; Operations Support<ul><li>Pick up and process daily mail (checks, documents, payments)</li><li>Answer phones and manage shared inbox communication</li><li>Create and manage Certificates of Insurance (COIs)</li><li>Handle general administrative tasks (documents, misc. requests)</li><li>Support scheduling coordination with service team</li><li>Assist with internal communication and organization</li><li>Coordinate basic meeting and event planning (team meetings, client meetings, occasional company events)</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>2+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, invoicing, or payroll</li><li>Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities</li><li>Comfortable working independently in a hybrid/remote environment</li><li>Strong communication skills</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Must live within commuting distance of Brown Deer</li><li>Ability to visit the office briefly each weekday (mail pickup, etc.)</li><li>Reliable transportation</li><li>Reliable high-speed internet and home workspace</li></ul>What Success Looks Like<ul><li>Invoices are sent within 24 hours</li><li>Payroll is accurate and processed on time</li><li>No backlog of unbilled work</li><li>Clear visibility into accounts receivable and billing status</li><li>Administrative tasks are handled consistently and efficiently</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Competitive hourly pay</li><li>Hybrid work environment (remote + daily office touchpoint)</li><li>Opportunity to grow with a fast-growing company</li><li>Work with a professional, team-oriented group</li></ul>Schedule<ul><li>Monday to Friday</li><li>Day shift</li><li>Flexibility within the workday once responsibilities are met</li></ul>Work LocationHybrid remote in Milwaukee WI area.Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>invoicing or billing: 2 years (Required)</li><li>payroll processing: 2 years (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Milwaukee, WI 53209 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Milwaukee, WI 53209
