You&rsquo;ll be our go-to person for ensuring our team&rsquo;s hardware and software run smoothly. This is a perfect role for someone who loves troubleshooting, staying organized, and helping others navigate technical hurdles without the corporate jargon.DESCRIPTION OF THE JOBYou&rsquo;ll work alongside experienced technicians to keep our systems running safely and efficiently:<ul><li>Setup &amp; Deployment: Prepare, configure, and deploy laptops (Windows) and peripherals for new hires.</li><li>Troubleshooting: Solve day-to-day hardware, software, and connectivity issues (in-person and remote).</li><li>Maintenance: Manage software updates, patches, and security configurations.</li><li>Inventory Management: Keep track of our tech assets - know who has what and what needs replacing.</li><li>User Support: Act as the first point of contact for technical &quot;how-to&quot; questions and system access issues.</li></ul>Minimum RequirementsWe&rsquo;re more interested in your potential and mindset than years of experience:<ul><li>High school diploma or GED required</li><li>Knowledge of computer software, operating systems, hardware and networking</li><li>Experience with software as a service (SaaS) and other software hosting protocols</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Good problem-solving and critical-thinking skills</li><li>Able to work in a team as well as independently</li><li>Experienced in providing professional and courteous customer service</li></ul>Bonus Points If You Have<ul><li>Hands-on experience (school, internship, or work history).</li><li>Experience in water and wastewater utilities.</li><li>Interest in water, sustainability, or environmental systems.</li></ul>Social Skills: Must act in a respectful, knowledgeable, and professional manner. Work requires regular interaction involving exchange and receipt of complex information; adjusting actions in relation to others&rsquo; actions; trying to reconcile differences; actively looking for ways to help people and Global Water be successful. Will interact with employees at all levels and represent Global Water externally.Physical Demands: Must be able to perform the following on a regular basis: Sitting for extended periods; prolonged periods of time with repetitive motions of hands and fingers; close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to thirty pounds. Work is performed in an office and outdoors where the employee may be exposed to noise from construction sites, heavy equipment and inclement weather.
