The Assembly Shop Helper will assist personnel within Assembly with general expediting of materials and parts, cleaning, and assisting the department in assembly and loading duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
Check in parts ensuring all received parts are properly accounted for and organized.</li><li>
Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within the Assembly department.</li><li>
Ensure Assembly area is clean in appearance including removing trash and sweeping as required.</li><li>
Ability to safely operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and manlifts required.</li><li>
Be available to work overtime when needed to ensure deadlines are met.</li><li>
Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>
High school graduate or G.E.D. strongly preferred.</li><li>
Basic mathematical skills and ability to read a tape measure required.</li><li>
Ability to safely operate overhead cranes, forklifts and manlifts required.</li><li>
Valid state driver's license in good standing is required.</li><li>
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment, proactively contributing ideas to improve operations required.</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to be adaptable, tactful, and self-directed when faced with tight deadlines and fluid environments required.</li><li>
Basic oral and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate in English required.</li><li>
Must possess a proven history of being reliable with excellent attendance.</li><li>
Conduct oneself with the highest level of professionalism and ethical standards.
