Job Role: House ManagerJob Location: South KolkataPosition Overview:The House Manager will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day management and upkeep of the Managing Director&rsquo;s residence. This role requires a trustworthy, well-organized individual who can independently manage household operations, supervise domestic staff, and coordinate with external vendors and the housing complex management office.Key Responsibilities:1. Household Operations &amp; Maintenance<ul><li>Oversee daily operations of the MD&rsquo;s residence ensuring cleanliness, orderliness, and functionality.</li><li>Maintain an updated list of service providers (electrician, plumber, carpenter, gardener, etc.) and ensure quick response for any maintenance needs.</li><li>Supervise any renovation, repair, or maintenance work; liaise with contractors and monitor work completion.</li><li>Ensure proper upkeep of electrical, plumbing, and other household systems.</li></ul>2. Staff Supervision<ul><li>Supervise and coordinate the work of domestic staff including the cook, cleaner, and any other household help.</li><li>Schedule and monitor their daily duties to maintain efficiency and discipline.</li><li>Manage attendance, leave, and performance of household staff.</li></ul>3. Coordination &amp; Communication<ul><li>Liaise with the housing complex&rsquo;s facility management/association for any service, maintenance, or compliance requirements.</li><li>Communicate effectively with vendors, delivery personnel, and other service providers.</li><li>Maintain cordial relationships with neighbors and society management for smooth coordination.</li></ul>4. Inventory &amp; Procurement<ul><li>Maintain inventory of household items, groceries, cleaning materials, and other supplies.</li><li>Ensure timely replenishment and maintain records of purchases and expenses.</li><li>Handle petty cash and submit expense reports as required.</li></ul>5. Other Responsibilities<ul><li>Ensure proper upkeep of the kitchen, dining, and guest areas at all times.</li><li>Manage guest visits, coordinate hospitality arrangements, and support the MD&rsquo;s family as required.</li><li>Maintain confidentiality, discretion, and a high standard of personal conduct at all times.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience:<ul><li>Graduate preferred; Diploma in Hospitality or Facility Management will be an advantage.</li><li>3&ndash;5 years of relevant experience in managing a private household, hotel operations, or facility management.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>Proven ability to handle vendors, supervise staff, and manage budgets.</li><li>Must be reliable, discreet, and service-oriented.</li></ul>Interested candidates can mail their updated profiles to talent@globsyn.edu.inJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: Up to &#8377;360,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
