Go N Play #2 in Conroe, TX is looking for a two year old teacher to join our team. This teacher needs to be dependable, caring and fun loving!The hours for this position are 9:30am-6:30pm.Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Provide continuous supervision of children in the classrooms, play areas, common areas, and on the playground to ensure their health and safety.</li><li>Implementing developmentally appropriate activities for all ages in care.</li><li>Ensure children behave well when in contact with others.</li><li>Supervise and lead the activity areas.</li><li>Follow daily schedule.</li><li>Ensures that all safety precautions are taken when receiving and releasing children to the parent/guardian.</li><li>Follow all policies and procedures related to keeping children safe.</li><li>Observe, record, and communicate any significant behaviors of children.</li><li>Maintain an open, friendly, and cooperative relationship with each child and family.</li><li>Change diapers and assist with potty training.</li><li>Help children eat during snack and meal times, and rest time during quiet times.</li><li>Assist with cleaning.</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe physical environment for children. (cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing)</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>Must have high school diploma or equivalent and be 18 years of age. Or must be in a high school work study program relating to the area of child care.</li><li>Must be able to obtain 24 clock hours of training annually. (8 must be completed before hire)</li><li>Must be able to communicate well with children.</li><li>Excellent verbal communication with parents required.</li><li>Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.</li><li>Ability to problem solve in varying situations.</li><li>Must be professional, patient, positive, dependable, flexible, and most importantly, should love working with children.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
