This position will support the day-to-day administration of HR operations while progressively taking ownership of broader Human Resources responsibilities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, professional, adaptable, and eager to develop within a fast-paced healthcare environment.This role provides exposure to nearly every aspect of Human Resources, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, performance management, and HR projects.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesRecruitment &amp; Talent Acquisition<ul><li>Coordinate the full recruitment process, including posting positions, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.</li><li>Assist hiring managers throughout the hiring process.</li><li>Coordinate background checks, employment verifications, and pre-employment requirements.</li><li>Prepare offer letters and onboarding documentation.</li><li>Maintain applicant tracking records and recruitment metrics.</li></ul>Onboarding &amp; Employee Administration<ul><li>Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding.</li><li>Process new hires, employee changes, and terminations.</li><li>Maintain personnel files and HRIS records with accuracy and confidentiality.</li><li>Ensure completion of I-9s, E-Verify, and employment documentation.</li><li>Assist employees with HR-related questions and requests.</li></ul>Employee Relations<ul><li>Serve as a first point of contact for routine employee inquiries.</li><li>Assist with investigations, corrective actions, and employee documentation.</li><li>Support employee engagement initiatives and company events.</li><li>Promote a positive workplace culture.</li></ul>Benefits &amp; Payroll Support<ul><li>Assist employees with benefit enrollment and changes.</li><li>Coordinate leave requests and maintain appropriate documentation.</li><li>Support payroll by ensuring timely processing of personnel changes.</li><li>Maintain accurate attendance and PTO records.</li></ul>Performance Management<ul><li>Coordinate annual performance evaluations and probationary reviews.</li><li>Assist managers with performance documentation.</li><li>Track employee development and training activities.</li></ul>Compliance<ul><li>Assist in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.</li><li>Help maintain HR policies and employee handbook updates.</li><li>Support unemployment claims, workers' compensation, audits, and regulatory reporting.</li><li>Maintain confidentiality of employee information at all times.</li></ul>HR Projects<ul><li>Participate in HR process improvements and special projects.</li><li>Assist with implementation of new HR initiatives.</li><li>Support departmental reporting and workforce analytics.</li><li>Perform additional HR and administrative duties as assigned.</li></ul>QualificationsRequired<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.</li><li>1&ndash;3 years of Human Resources or administrative experience.</li><li>Strong organizational and multitasking skills.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).</li><li>Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and follow-through.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications and Skills<ul><li>Experience in healthcare, laboratory, or other regulated environments.</li><li>Familiarity with HRIS, payroll, and applicant tracking systems.</li><li>Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.</li><li>Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Strong problem-solving ability.</li><li>Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.</li><li>Self-motivated with a willingness to learn.</li><li>Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.</li><li>High level of integrity and professionalism.</li></ul>Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Parental leave</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
