Our client, a respected and fast-growing law firm, is seeking an experienced Business Litigation Attorney to join their dynamic team in Plano, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity to play a lead role in complex business and commercial litigation, shape legal strategy, and help mentor the next generation of litigation talent.Key Responsibilities- Lead and support business litigation matters including declaratory judgment actions, breach of contract, tortious interference, insurance disputes, and related commercial cases.- Develop and execute sound litigation strategies; oversee motion practice, legal research, and preparation of trial materials.- Draft, review, and argue pleadings, motions, and briefs before state and federal courts.- Serve as an advisor to clients, clearly communicating updates, risks, and recommendations on high-value matters.- Collaborate with trial teams and mentor associates to deliver exceptional client service.- Ensure all litigation activities align with ethical and procedural standards; proactively address legal risks and compliance issues.Qualifications- JD from an accredited law school and active Texas Bar license (required)- At least 7 years of litigation experience with a focus on business/commercial cases- Demonstrated success in declaratory actions and complex civil litigation- Outstanding research, writing, oral advocacy, and strategic thinking skills- Able to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team setting- Labor &amp; employment law experience a plusWhat&rsquo;s On Offer- Competitive annual salary plus bonus- Full suite of benefits: health insurance, PTO, and more- Hybrid work: enjoy flexibility with three days in-office per week- Clear opportunities for advancement, mentorship, and professional growth- Positive, collaborative firm culture where your contributions are truly valuedJoin a team dedicated to legal excellence, client success, and continuous growth in one of Texas&rsquo;s most vibrant legal markets.
