Attorney Corporate litigation

Our client, a respected and fast-growing law firm, is seeking an experienced Business Litigation Attorney to join their dynamic team in Plano, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity to play a lead role in complex business and commercial litigation, shape legal strategy, and help mentor the next generation of litigation talent.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and support business litigation matters including declaratory judgment actions, breach of contract, tortious interference, insurance disputes, and related commercial cases.

- Develop and execute sound litigation strategies; oversee motion practice, legal research, and preparation of trial materials.

- Draft, review, and argue pleadings, motions, and briefs before state and federal courts.

- Serve as an advisor to clients, clearly communicating updates, risks, and recommendations on high-value matters.

- Collaborate with trial teams and mentor associates to deliver exceptional client service.

- Ensure all litigation activities align with ethical and procedural standards; proactively address legal risks and compliance issues.

Qualifications

- JD from an accredited law school and active Texas Bar license (required)

- At least 7 years of litigation experience with a focus on business/commercial cases

- Demonstrated success in declaratory actions and complex civil litigation

- Outstanding research, writing, oral advocacy, and strategic thinking skills

- Able to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team setting

- Labor & employment law experience a plus
