In this role, you will monitor premises through surveillance systems, conduct regular patrols, and respond promptly to incidents or emergencies. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your security skills and contribute to a protected community.Duties<ul><li>Conduct routine patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks</li><li>Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the property</li><li>Control access points by verifying identification and authorizations for visitors, contractors, and employees</li><li>Respond swiftly to alarms or suspicious activity, escalating incidents according to established protocols</li><li>Assist in conflict management by calmly resolving disputes or disturbances on-site</li><li>Support loss prevention efforts through vigilant observation and reporting of theft or vandalism</li><li>Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations in shift reports for record-keeping purposes</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable</li><li>Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and security protocols is preferred</li><li>Certification in first aid and CPR is a plus, demonstrating readiness to respond to medical emergencies</li><li>Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure</li><li>Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and basic law enforcement procedures enhances effectiveness in this role</li><li>Ability to work independently with keen attention to detail and excellent observational skills</li></ul>Join us in safeguarding our community with energy and professionalism!
