Duties

• Conduct routine patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks
• Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the property
• Control access points by verifying identification and authorizations for visitors, contractors, and employees
• Respond swiftly to alarms or suspicious activity, escalating incidents according to established protocols
• Assist in conflict management by calmly resolving disputes or disturbances on-site
• Support loss prevention efforts through vigilant observation and reporting of theft or vandalism
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations in shift reports for record-keeping purposes

Experience

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
• Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and security protocols is preferred
• Certification in first aid and CPR is a plus, demonstrating readiness to respond to medical emergencies
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and basic law enforcement procedures enhances effectiveness in this role
• Ability to work independently with keen attention to detail and excellent observational skills
