Job Summary Bartender (Part-Time) &ndash; Growth Opportunity with Bar Director MentorshipJob Description: McGregor&rsquo;s Butcher &amp; Bistro is seeking a part-time bartender who wants more than just a shift&mdash;we&rsquo;re looking for someone who wants to grow.This role is designed for a bartender with some experience who is ready to take the next step by working alongside an accomplished Bar Director. You&rsquo;ll gain hands-on experience in craft cocktails, batching, bar systems, and high-level service in a chef-driven, hospitality-focused environment.For the right person, this is a stepping stone into a larger role as our bar program continues to grow.Responsibilities<ul><li>Work side-by-side with our Bar Director during peak service (especially Friday &amp; Saturday evenings)</li><li>Execute cocktails with consistency, precision, and attention to detail</li><li>Engage guests with a warm, confident, and professional presence</li><li>Assist with batching, prep, and bar organization</li><li>Support the overall flow of service as part of a team-first environment</li><li>Step into additional bar shifts and responsibilities as you grow</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Some bartending experience (craft cocktail experience is a plus, not required)</li><li>Outgoing personality and strong guest interaction skills</li><li>A genuine desire to learn and improve behind the bar</li><li>Positive attitude and team-first mindset</li><li>Reliability and flexibility with scheduling</li><li>Availability for evening and weekend shifts</li></ul>Schedule &amp; Growth Opportunity:<ul><li>Approximately 15&ndash;20 hours per week behind the bar</li><li>Primary shifts: Friday &amp; Saturday evenings</li><li>One weekday shift (prep, batching, or service support)</li></ul>Additional serving shifts are available for those who want more hours and earning potential.Compensation:<ul><li>Competitive hourly ($10&ndash;$12 based on experience) + tips</li><li>Ongoing mentorship and hands-on training from an experienced Bar Director</li><li>Opportunity for advancement as the bar program grows</li></ul>About Us:McGregor&rsquo;s Butcher &amp; Bistro is a butcher-driven, ingredient-focused restaurant built on strong hospitality, quality ingredients, and a team-first culture.
